From the beaches of Normandy to the sands of Desert Storm, the bitter winters of Korea to the steaming jungles of Vietnam... Europe to the Far East... Central America to Africa to the Middle East... all stand witness to the courage and sacrifice of the brave Americans who have served at Fort Campbell over the past half-century. The legendary feats of those who have served in the many units at Fort Campbell since 1942 are indeed worthy of recognition. Their heroic accomplishments, individually and collectively, deserve to be remembered, told and shared.
During the five decades since World War II, Fort Campbell has evolved into one of the Army's premier installations. Troops from Fort Campbell are trained and deployed throughout the world to fulfill many missions in both war and peace.
Today, the challenge is ours...
to preserve military history for future generations, honor the men and women who have served their nation in units at Fort Campbell, and educate those who follow in their path.
Membership in the Fort Campbell Historical Foundation demonstrates your support for preserving the legacy of those who have served in units at Fort Campbell since it was established in 1942. Your support helps provide promotional, marketing, and educational programs in support of the current Don F. Pratt Museum and assists the Foundation in its work to build the Wings of Liberty Military Museum, and Fort Campbell Historical Complex.
