MR. JACK B. TURNER HAS BEEN SELECTED AS OUR LEGACY PERSON FOR THE 1ST QUARTER...

Achieving the financial goal to build and equip the new "Wings of Liberty" Military Museum requires the support from public and private sectors as well as state, and federal government, national and international corporations, businesses, associations, and individuals. Mr. Jack Turner in spite of his demanding career, agreed to take on the additional task as National Chairman for the "Preserve the Legacy" fund raising campaign to assist in achievement of such goals.

Mr. Turner was named chairman in October 1998 and has served along side GEN (ret) J.H. Binford Peay, III, International Chairman, to ensure this quest becomes a reality. Mr. Turner has stated, "a world class museum project like this will have significant economic impact through out our region." He also likes the fact Tennessee and Kentucky are able to work together to make this important project a reality.

Mr. Turner is currently president of Jack B. Turner & Associates of Clarksville, TN. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1958. Choosing a career in the insurance and financial service business he has become renowned nationally in his profession.

Mr. Turners success did not happen over night. But after only three years at age 26 he made the Million Dollar Round Table and has qualified every year since 1962, including 15 years as a Top of the Table member, an elite group which compiled is less than 1 percent of his profession.
He is a past president of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), youngest in MDRT history, the MDRT Foundation, the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), and the Tennessee Association of Life Underwriters.

He presently serves on the board of directors for the American College and has served on the boards of the Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education and the National Association of Estate Planning Council.

Turner was also awarded the John Newton Russell Memorial Award for the year 2000, the insurance industries highest honor. This award is given to an individual who has demonstrated sustained, distinguished, and meritorious service to the insurance industry in the course of a lifetime.
Mr. Turner has given his time and experience to the Fort Campbell Historical Foundation. We would like to say thank you and we appreciate you and all you do.
